The rumor mill from Yahoo's TDFX thread attributed purpose of ML talks as buyout of Rendition, makers of Verite (sp) graphix chips. No independent verification of this RUMOR. Re: Options Check out the price change between TDFX and any of the out-of-the-money calls, if TDFX drops 5%, the price of the option drops 45-55% during the same time period. The specialists must have maxed out their volatility component to get that kind of swing. I set up a RT screen just for TDFX and TDFX calls, with percentage change from open, sorted by strike price and month. May calls are outside of my risk tolerance, so I'm spread over Jun/Sep/Dec with 35's and 40's in 25 to 50 contract chunks. Only using profits from the April 25's and 30's exercised and sold Monday and Tuesday which effectively negates the risk, 'cept for the taxbite ! Look like the most urgent of the VC shares have been assimilated by the market, may not be the majority, IMHO. In for the longterm (thats anything over a quarter) J
