Bill think this way- the ROTH IRA plus the 401k regulars maintained the market up for April. Now my speculation is that ROTH inflows were several times bigger than 401K's. Now the end of month/start of month 401K effect started to be well known. This month it may disapoint, mostly due to institutional investors. Japan is dragging the treasuries down, the long bond also approaches the critical 6% level - if no bounce there due to selling pressure, you have the recipe for a several hundred point down in the DJIA.
