Xy,

Get a life.. ther eis more demand for Alpha's today than you would believe.. the infsutry I am involved with (the high-frequency electromagnetics/superconductors/cell phone industry and it's suppliers) are falling in love with the Alpha.. they are sprouting like crazy.

And now that the 21264 is out look out...

Let me put it this way.. A company can spend $40,000US on an HP workstation or $4,500 for a Tristar alpha power workstation and get the same performance, "got it?"

Xy,

If AMD have the right to make Alpha, it has the right to the technologies. Both Intel and AMD do not care of making Alphas. All they want are the advance designs in it. The FCC makes sure Intel won't shut out the competitions. Get it? This shows how little you know about technologies.
