Thanks for your contrarian analysis. It brings back reality that
us bears might be all wet.
Friday could be interesting, my goal this time is to make a small profit and get back to the sideline as I still fear getting bit by a bull run that you mention. I struggle with the fact that DRAM is not looking back, just going on down, as pricing to OEM's is being set for May now.
Someone told me who has some contact with Micron that they said the reason for the MU run-up was the announcement of SLDRAM proto samples. No wonder, it did not last very long. Only those with a custom Asic chip set could possibly use these parts right now if they were in production, and with Intel commited to RDRAM it will take alot of work for the SLDRAM group to get acceptance. Its still a Mid 1999 product, thats a bit far out for me.
