You all should lay back and cut a little slack to this new revolutionary blessing we as individual investors have received from the technology geniuses of our free enterprise system.... The cars made in 1903 had many problems, the good companies as well as the bad.... The difference being our system rewards the best. Most of todays Online trading problems are due to the unexpected demand put on the technology by overwhelming acceptance of online commerce. The best brains in the business run these companies and they know only too well the pitfalls and problems. I know the ownership and crew at AMTD work around the clock to make this transition as rapidly as possible. Instead of constant harping, I call them after the market evertime I think of a idea that might improve. One of them is to have a direct dedicated line available at a slightly extra fee during the times of crisis. This would help those of us who trade frequently and need access on those wild days. If you can place your orders in off hours with a limit you have no problem as to time and remember we are saving a small fortune. And how many times have you called a full service broker and he has been busy, out to lunch, out golfing, with another client and the secretary says he will call you back, but you want to act now...really isnt it the truth?
