Your right, the OS is usually some flavor of Unix and some may even have NT... But these systems are static, cookie cutter, clones... If you know the configuration of one system in your network, you know them all... Not much chance of finding some old installation of Lotus 123 and that is where the value of this particular Y2K software comes in, with PC's that aren't so cut and dry... So you analyze one ATM of each different configuration in a lab, identify all the necessary patchs and apply to all corresponding clones...

The X in Win 3.X stands for the various revisions of Windows version 3, Win 3.0, 3.1, 3.11, WFW...
