General market may have problems for the next week or so.
But, for what it's worth, earnings of companies in industries
related to ASND were good today. djane

Guys and Ladies, I told Gary Korn on the telephone once (when I was on the Yahoo thread only - now I cross over to both and pass info in both directions - admittedly more going to Yahoo) how special this group was and that it should function as a group to move on to the next stock when Ascend is no longer attractive to the whole bunch of us. The pain of going to $23 caused us all to work and dig harder than ever and we learned and grew together, and provided support for eachother.

We were kind to eachother, because we were hurt and needed support to make the tuff decision to sell or stay. And the gaps were filled by eachothers strengths. I can't be in SoCal, but Pat can. Gary could fill in big block, level II, etc., when we needed to know that there really were institutions buying, Sowbug gives us a great contest, Pete comes in with analysis and humor, Glenn, djane, and others bring research libraries, Sector Investors gets analyst reports and summaries, Maverick product knowledge and company insite, and many many more contributions. And I too have tried to do me part. While we have lost some, others come to fill in those gaps.

That, my friends, creates bonds. I hope somehow we can continue to be in touch as the years and the stock opportunities roll by. What we have here approaches having a hand up on the big boys. But it works, because the many are working towards a common goal, with a joint purpose and dealing in an environment of mutual respect.

Have a nice evening, Dennis
