chkpf itself said the margin will come down - they said themselves this qtr's margin is unreal due to their inability to hire enough employees. another thing, if you factored back the tax rate they only beat est may be by 1 penny. as for growth, they need to grow revenues quarter to quarter, in order to maintain the earnings growth - the revenues are flat. one can only control expenses to a certain degree, the true growth depends on topline growth. msft's comments only aggrevate the sell-off, imho.
