FIELD ACTIVITIES / Anvil Resources Updates Texas Drilling Anvil Resources Ltd. ANV-ASE April 23/98- The company announced drilling commenced at 5:00 am Central Standard April 21/98 on the natural gas prospect in Webb County, Texas. The initial test well will be drilled to a depth of 8,800 ft to test the Wilcox sands. Anvil has the right to earn a 75 percent working interest on two leases totaling 1126.9 acres by financing 100 percent of the drilling and completion costs.
