I personally talked on the phone with the general manager of the debit card business of ECS. I think it will be the MOST profitable part of GLOBAL FY98.

If you say ECS earned $.75 million last quarter 97 only in Toronto.
They are doubling outlets in Toronto in FY98.
They plan to expand to about 6 major North American cities, most of them bigger than Toronto.
Therefore 6 * 1.5 (because of doubling of outlets) = $9 million
Therefore 9 * 4 (because of 4 quarters in year, I am assuming no ramp up just for this exercise) = $36 million.
The costs are very low. I will speak to Gary today about whether this is US dollars and what are the net earnings of these figures.
For now let's assume a %40 profit.
$36 * .4 = $14 million
Let's say the double the cities in 1999 etc.....
This part of GLOBAL COULD bring in over .50 eps in 1999 alone.

I think alot of people do not understand these debit cards.

They are used for the telepersonnal chat lines found in every city.
Alot of men don't like paying for these chat lines with their credit cards so by buying one of these debit cards you avoid that.
In Toronto the chat lines are getting almost 49% of there business from these debit cards and ECS gets 35% of every debit card sold. The corner store gets about 15% and the chat line service gets 50%. The cost are low and the cards are selling like hot cakes. There is no competition in sight. They are planning to adapt to internet and I think most importantly start buying up the telepersonnals and chat line companies which are private companies and are doing very nicely. They will be the MacDonalds of the telepersonnals world.

So don't assume the debit cards won't do much.

I see them as the fundamental money maker of GLOBAL.

Sorry for my writing it is not one of my strengths.

As Brad and Cheryl always say do your own DD.
