The 1st M2-PR266 review

The IBM 6x86MX PR266 feels very similar to a 300 MHz Pentium II when running Windows 95. The performance is truly exhilarating. Anyone that predominantly uses Microsoft Office, Netscape, Eudora, or other common Windows applications will fall in love with the IBM 6x86MX PR266. Since most applications use a mixture of integer and floating point arithmetic, the IBM 6x86MX is stellar for most applications. It compares favorably to the Pentium II, Pentium Pro, Pentium MMX and AMD K6 with these business applications, beating all soundly.

I have been using Cyrix M2-208Mhz on PC-Chip TXPro3 1MB L2 cache for weeks, and know that it is FAST and cool!

BTW, my M2-208Mhz takes approx. 2 seconds to open Word97 now.
