Michael,
The HP Celeron unit I got to play with seemed rather slow. Saw the hour glass way too much when opening programs etc.. It was priced at $1299 vs $1399 for a Pentium II 266. At that price it makes no sense.
A K6 or M-II system with a cache would be much "quicker" and be sub $1000.
Appparently you know where the K6 unit will be placed and anything I say is speculation but based on the success of the Pentium-MMX units HP has been selling the obvious choice is that the K6 will replace them.
How long before we see a new K6 based HP?
Jim
