Jay, thanks for the thoughts. re. complacency - it's discouraging. Here, we have technology available, two major classes of different industries each with a raw capability to deliver bandwidth to the home; and only toes in the water. What I liked about Bay is that they were selling both ends of the connectivity equation - the modems and the technology at the head end. Good stuff. As to their other products, I didn't then and still can't define to my own satisfaction a discriminator that the market appreciates. If you are reading between the lines, I bought BAY with misgivings... overcome with irrational exhuberance about a niche...

re. the market. My biggest overall worry (not a forecast) is that that the market is headed for a large correction and then perhaps a leveling out. Correction would carry all down... So any recovery of a sector would be extended. Now, if I knew that for a fact, I would know what to do, wouldn't I?

Here's a novel thought!! What's wrong with hanging out in cash? Hmmm. A lot less risk... Then, we wait to see just when the last mile guys finally decide to get serious... Getting more attractive by the day...
