< I've never heard of IBM making their own suspensions. They are a big HTCH customer. Did I miss a new development?>

This is the thing that amazes me. IBM does or doesn't? I don't know, but it is amazing how numbers are reported without owning up to captive in house production. Classic example is the often voiced statement that SEG, QNTM and WDC are the 3 biggest drive makers. Even when the vaste majority of IBM drive production was used internally, they were number 2 in unit volume.

Regards,

Mark

Z;

IBM makes suspensions in Thailand. That doesn't preclude them from buying from Hutch or anyone else however.
