Shares issued 26,161,058 Apr 23 close $2.75
Fri 24 Apr 98 News Release
Mr David Patterson reports
Further to news in Stockwatch April 22 1998, wherein the company announced
the acquisition of 200 claims contiguous to the South Voisey's Bay project
from a private individual, the consideration to be paid upon the completion
of $1,000,000 in exploration work on the claims is the issuance of 100,000
shares and not 50,000 shares.
In addition, the company has granted incentive stock options to certain of
its directors, officers and employees, entitling them to purchase a total
of 250,000 shares in its capital stock. These options are exercisable for
ten years at $2.60. The granting of these stock options will be subject to
the terms of the company's stock option plan which will be presented to its
shareholders for approval at the AGM expected to be held in August 1998.

D'Man

If what you say about "just picking this info up" is true you have surpassed Kerry Sparkes' geological knowledge of Ni exploration in Labrador. Wait until Mr. Keats finds out, you may want to post your complete address.

1) With such a small mass, 1.5mT, I can guarantee there were many intercepts in that range. I never understood why the market kicked Donner last year for that intercept. I personally thought it was very significant.

2)With reference to Co see (#4166, 1king, Apr 20 1998 10:12PM). The Co numbers speak very highly of the chemistry of the mafic bodies in the SVB area. That point alone might get you a job.

3) The real "meat" of the Eastern Deeps was just that, deep. much deeper than any present exploration at SVB. The discovery of the Eastern Deeps was actually a separate program designed to test a model. It wasn't really "chasing" the weak mineralization you refer to per se.

4) Western Extersion/Reid Brook Zone is growing in most directions, as are other areas at Voisey. I like Red Dog myself.

5) I guarantee an early hit. Look for Tech to spot a hole within 50m of the msv hit. This will pump the stock and give the borehole geophysics (i.e. hoojackapivies) a chance to map the distribution of sulfides.

6) Deeper drills are there. Hole 92 on the Major was abandoned because of the limitations of the drill. Philosophy has changed and you will see much deeper drilling this year. This also means slower reporting of results. So again be patient.

Good work, you should give Kerry a call. He is in panic mode and could certainly use you help.
