My .02

Cable and Satellite are exploding peoples options. Maybe soon everyone on Satellite and Cable will have Internet access. Millions and millions of them. That means lots of new users for years to come. I mean this can go lots of different ways. But lots of people that are casual users really like these search engines. And as for more experienced users, you said it yourself and I sometimes do it myself when I'm researching something totally new. Sometimes the links will keep you in a group promoting itself. I'm not talking about present valuations but I do see them having a definite future.

Kip,
Maybe I'm an oddball, but I find that I return to my home page on XCIT many times each day; it serves as my virtual newspaper (I love the News Tracker feature), I check my portfolio (who doesn't love to do that), send and receive mail through mailexcite.com and access various links. The beauty of such a virtual home page is that I am not bound by my browser; i.e., my links are accessible from any internet access point. As the net becomes more widespread, I think there will be tremendous value in having one's content accessible from anywhere. Don't underestimate the power and attaction of personalized home pages, always one click away.
Regards,
Craig A. Anderson
