I wonder to what degree you can believe Intel?, they can stuff the channel you know. The real trick would be to bring the 100 Mhz bus to all P-II processors and not just the 400 Mhz and other fast ones.
It will be an interseting summer.

Francis , there could be a good reason why PII outsold K6 in March ,
i.e. supply . Because of the transition to .25 there could have been a slackening of output of K6s so the PC cos. would have to sell whatever they can , hence the PII increase . Lets not forget the difference between K6 and PII sales was only 1.5% of the retail market .

PS The higher speed K6 classics and K6-3D next month coupled with greater output should solve that problem IMHO.
