I'm not so certain about your above statement. Typically, there are provisions in the options which will discourage a mass exodus in the case of a buy-out. I'm not certain about this in ASND's case. Maybe someone else has first hand knowledge of the options plan.

In either case, as I have stated in the past, IMHO I don't think it makes any sense to buy ASND based JUST on the possibility of a buyout.

I also think that LU has a good ATM/FR product line. Where they are weak is in layer 3...which is where they don't match up against well against CSCO. For this reason I think that BAY is a more likely acquisition...especially at it's current valuations.
