PARIS, Compuware/UNIFACE CU2 Users Conference, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Cayenne Software (Nasdaq: CAYN - news) today demonstrated a pre-release version of the integration of the Company's own market-leading ObjectTeam with UNIFACE Seven from Compuware. The integration effectively couples the Cayenne ObjectTeam analysis and design modeling repository with UNIFACE Seven's repository for component development and deployment, covering the entire application lifecycle -- from analysis to assembly to actuality. While Compuware, like many software providers in the industry today, enjoys multiple product partnerships in the object space, Cayenne's widely installed ObjectTeam becomes one of the first modeling and design front-end solutions with a working, demonstrable and optimized linkage to UNIFACE Seven through the new UML Repository API.

In this newest integration, ObjectTeam is used as a modeling and design front-end to UNIFACE's 3D strategy of software development, deployment and delivery. Cayenne's analysis and design capabilities fully complement the component construction and application assembly facilities in UNIFACE so developers are able to conduct analysis and design of the business requirements and overall system with ObjectTeam, and then pass that modeling information to UNIFACE, for component construction and assembly and delivery. Any changes to the component model made during development can also be reflected back to the analysis model.
