LOTEMAX Market potential

Has anyone noticed the projections for laser Opthamology Surgery [vision correcting] are exploding as new procedures are developed which increase the potential [near sighted/far sighted / astigmatism/ & finally correction up to 4.0 Diopters] and concurrently the cost will be coming down {estimate $1,000}, and the time to perform the procedure dramatically diminished {3 seconds for the Holminium Laser of SNRS}. Additionally the safety profile is increased significantly since the Holminium laser does not cut, but simply raises temperature sufficiently to contract the collagen and hence reshape the cornea with a series of very low teperature peripheral tacks.

Aren't the estimated 550,000 patients who will receive laser surgery in 1999 candidates for a Lotemax prescription........and consequently the market for Lotemax will benefit from a developing market not factored into the numbers?

P.S. the 550,000 number is projected to grow at a nearly exponential rate as the procedures [such as the 'Sands' described above] are approved and 'word of mouth' spreads from satisfied patients....and as the cost comes down.
