Congrats, we just had our first bear mkt rally :)

I base it on rising int rates, falling dollar, euphoria and unprecendented particp in the stock mkt, sky multiples, rampant speculation in trash, etc. I could go on for a page of the indicators I'm looking at, but I don't have the time or the inclination to go to any effort for this thread until it shows a little more adult behavior and courtesy. Go do a little digging for yourself. See what you come up w/. Like I said, I don't expect any of you to believe me until it is too late. You'll laugh and tell me I'm crazy. You'll buy on each bear rally, and then whine the next week on why your stock is dwn. You'll keep hoping for each earnings release to turn you around. Face it, DELL is EXPECTED to have a blowout qtr. You'll proabbly get a slight rise rt before earnings, and it will get blown rt after that. That's how I see it anyway. As always, I could be wrong but I feel pretty strong about it. all of this is aside, you've also got the deteriorating fundi's for DELL itself that I have already discussed at length. Good luck!

Hi Greg,..Re:<<the end of the Market as we know it?>>

Just couldn't resist answering the reply you got. I know that you know all this but just to keep things in perspective for all of us, LT said he thought the market was going to pot based on in his words:

I base it on rising int rates, falling dollar

Well, the first link is a 5 year chart on tyx (long term interest rates) and I can't tell how it is rising, can you?
chart4.bigcharts.com:80/report?r=cobrand&site=dailystocks&onbad=cobrandsymb&symb=TYX&time=12&uf=7168&sid=11421&sec=x&xyz=79051063&s=9376

The second chart is a weekly dollar index and I can't really tell it is falling, can you?

Just to make sure that the picture is crystal clear, I included a chart of the GSCI which shows that commodity pricing is pretty low.

So maybe this is just a matter of somebody again trying to time the market; however, it took months and months to get to the low interest rates we now have, and given that the Fed has successfully steered the economy to this record price stability, it seems a huge stretch that the whole thing is going to immediately reverse. JMHO

Best,

Lee
