TC2000 Pro was vendor of choice for many serious TA users until QP began to expand capabilities. The quarterly CDs were free. The basic scans were there. They put it on the backburner, based on if you give someone something new, they will mess it up. Their data remains clean and timely. But they missed an opportunity to expand scan capabilities and keep up with the needs of serious TA.

Quotes Plus 2.0 with its instant conversion to metastock and its expanded scanning provides more for less. In less than 2 minutes from download, I have all stocks and indices (and mutual funds if I wanted them) ready in 4 different programs. Scans can be user-defined. I don't see any competition.

From what I got from TC2K, the Pro version will quietly disappear, as is typical of things they had that don't fly.

I also note that TC2K is expensive. Although they offer discounts for large prepayments, the triple bonus for new users means just that according to them. If you ever got it (say for V4.0), you won't get it for V4.0. Sort of like Gilette, give away the razors and charge for the blades. Let's hope Gary doesn't read their pricing.......
