>Am I crazy [for buying APM]?<
Sometimes you can make money doing crazy things.
But as a general rule, you're probably better off buying a stock you have some faith in, and then, if you want to think about it, trying to figure out whether the stock/company deserves your faith.
But don't think too much, or the craziness can creep in.

Regards,
Larry

I'm assuming you're buying on a technical basis -- i.e., a bottom has formed. The fundamentals don't seem to have changed. As long as you have a reason for buying, you're not crazy. I've bought crappy companies which have formed a solid base, and I've been rewarded for my patience.

Oh, one more thing, I have sworn that I will never buy APM again.
