The longer term stochastics (12 to 14 day)on SPX turned negative yesterday for the first time (of a negative reversal) in about 4 weeks. I subjectively feel that the downturn can take us down for several days and go at least 3 or 4 percent more. I sold the remainder of any long positions in all accounts on the dip this AM. At least I hope I did. Waiting for some confirmations.

Don, can you believe the MSH? With the DJIA down 120 and the Naz off 19, the MSH was still at about unchanged. The MSH had that herculean spike up to 575 early on, and held on to a 3.7 pt gain even with the S&P down over 9 pts.

I think it was a combination of HWP and YHOO, each being up over 7 pts and 5 pts, respectively. They are both components of the MSH. Is HWP the only thing holding up the MSH? Incredible. And weird. And maddening.
