Currently you will see many reverse splits happening because there are new listing requirements for a stock to remain listed on NASDAQ. For many companies, the only way to remain listed (if the meet the other financial requirements) is to do a reverse to get their stock price above the NASDAQ required minimum. The two I mentioned previously, CCEE and BDLS, only reversed to remain on NASDAQ.
