Am reading the impressive annual report of NPS Phar. It looks like about 70% of the stock is owned by funds, drug companies (Amgen, SmithKline) and its directors. That's a real vote of confidence. I'm also impressed that it won a competition sponsored by Arthur Anderson for Best Business Practices in Utah. The CEO says they are attracting AND retaining a good work force. That's real important for these little companies. Still has $58 million in cash as of Dec 31, 1997. I own just 100 shares. I may buy more. Dan Jones
