Re: Sony

Haven't heard anything specific but the February 17th announcement (see biz.yahoo.com for text) is worth re-reading in light of the upcoming conference. It stands to reason that XYBR hasn't just been sipping Sake with these giants.

Volume continuing to increase and the price beginning to turn up. Still trying to pick up some more shares at 1 1/2 but that's looking less likely.

Xybernaut and Sony will co-host the 1998 International Conference on Wearable Computing, May 12-13, in Fairfax, VA at the Hyatt Hotel, directly across the street from Xybernaut's worldwide headquarters, according to their April 6th news release. (Mr. Edward G. Newman, President & CEO of Xybernaut Corporation and Mr. Yasuo Ono, President of Sony Digital Products, will co-host.)

Their FEBRUARY 18th news release says in part: "In addition to the previously announced relationship with Sony Digital Products, its primary Japanese manufacturer, Xybernaut has reached agreement with a number of other highly regarded Japanese corporations in the areas of long-term research, development, manufacturing and supply. These companies include Fujitsu, Hitachi, Shimadzu, Hoshiden, Toshiba, Sony, Citizen and Sharp. Additional relationships are being negotiated....."

"Xybernaut is also in negotiations with several very large Japanese corporations for sales, marketing, service and support of its product lines worldwide as well as in specific market segments....."

This information is on their website at www.xybernaut.com.

Looking forward to hearing more about conference, as I cannot attend. (April press release also says that Bloomberg Terminal Subscribers can access the information.)

I don't know about a contract announcement. Hope this helps.

I'm long.
