Yes, it does. By law, one can only short stocks from a margin account, and SYGR,as a recent sub-$5 may be confused by morons like your broker and my broker as a non-marginable stock. The unbearable truth is that most of these guys won't take the trouble to update their books. Even in the Computer Age, they still look up what's non-marginable in monthly issues broadsheets, whilst they sit on their spotted, cellulite-engorged behinds, dreaming of Big Berthas and raking $.05 on every share I buy, the excreme ...
