Alan; *Off Topic*

I find the early mornings productive as well which is why I indulge my love of single malt whiskeys and cigars rather sparingly. My latest discovery is "The Glenrothes" which is one of the whiskeys that the folks at Chivas use in their blended whiskey and now bottled by them in a limited run. (Interestingly Glenrothes is the location of the former Rodime, makers of 3.5 inch disk drives at one time and a company that successfully patented the form factor. I used to visit that company quite a bit.) I bought two bottles of it last time I was in London and have timed it rather well. About a third of the way through the second bottle and am off to London again at the end of May. The net result of my parsimony is that I seldom have trouble recalling my thoughts the next morning. Likewise the pleasure of the whiskey, the cigar, and cruising SI which serves to bring me back to all three again and again.

There are some disadvantages to living in an Islamic country. One of these is a distinct lack of choice in whiskeys. Fortunately Singapore is a short ride away and I travel there and elsewhere enough to stay in stock. Cigars have recently come available here as the tendrils of the cigar craze have reached even to here. I hate it. My favorite churchill has doubled in price in the last two years and is frequently unavailable.

Best,
Stitch
