AND, if you don't believe the last few posts, the mere fact that NRT hit a new high in advance of the halt says it all!

I spoke with a gentleman in the IR department just now, and he flatly denied any deal of that magnitude being signed. He also commented that negotiations with pharmaceuticals is part of Nortran daily business and if anything definite was signed it would already be announced. I asked about Hoffman Leroche and he laughed and said "is that the latest rumour, last week it was Bristol Meyers". I could tell he was very annoyed with the gossip on this thread, and was quite short with me when he new I was referring to the internet. He talked about long term value and fundamentals, and that is were my focus should be not short term.

For what its worth.

Well Saracen, your sources/predictions are now 2 for 2 with near perfect accuracy, re: 1st the financing, then the deal...WITH Hoffman LaRoche..."including $85 million or so of staged payments/commitments". No wonder IR was annoyed about this "rumour" ...it was just too accurate! I believe someone on this thread owes you an apology!

Thank you for going out on a limb and sharing your information with us.

T.Bill

Saracen, I hope you did not trade the stock on that info. You are already in enough trouble for tipping-off investors.

Saracen, keeping a low profile now? Can't say I blame you.
