That 60,000 block at 3:46 at the bid was a real fakeout - expected a drop, instead it took off. So much for my 7/8 limit to buy May 30 calls (FQEF) it closed up to 1 5/8 ! Can't wait for Monday !

Looked like pretty strong volume on the finale to me -- somewhat over 200K shares in the last 15 minutes. I'm not sure whether the big overhang of stock to be sold is history or not, but I'm impressed that TDFX could finish higher than yesterday on a generally weak market day. Plus we didn't really get very close to yesterday's low even during the nastiest part of today's trading.

I think the odds that we'll go up from here are a higher probability than further decline.

good luck,
Baird

Ralph, correct me if I'm wrong but on Thursday the stock went down and then big blocks came in at the end of the day to push it back up. On Friday morning much of these big blocks were sold off at 26 and 26 1/8 which caused the stock to begin the decline again taking into account the additional 3.5MM shares which need to be sold. On Friday afternoon late (Last 10 minutes) the stocks builds up momentum on big blocks that came in late Friday. If past performance is any indication of the future being Monday, then there would be a large sell off on the opening after the MM spike up the price a bit to about 26 3/4 to 27 1/4 to get more money for the stock and then the stock would come down again but hopefully not go below the low of about 24 3/8 on Friday. Please give me your pulse on the situation.
