True!!! Way Way True!! Honest ta Betsy!! It's veracious!! And (harumph) re Scrabble, of which I am perhaps one of the thread's two or three maximo aficionados, what, pray tell, what, was the result if someone hit a triple word using a "Q" or a "Z"? Don't answer that. Is there a Scrabble server on the web I wonder? I guess it would be an impossible thing on threads, since you could never prove that someone didn't sneak a look at the Oxford Unabridged (all ten volumes).

I'm at work on a Saturday, hiding out from the boys on bikes. This past week I had a long, discouraging phone chat with our Director of Public Safety, our sorta catch-all police and fire chief. He was quite unmoved by my pleas for assistance in abating the nuisance of having those boys yelling, peering over our fence, and using awful language. His attitude is that "kids will be kids", and the threshold of what constitutes an actionable nuisance is quite high. He also didn't say so outright, but he implied the situation was my fault because I let it get "personal". He seemed to have more sympathy for the mother of one of the boys who called him and the utility re setting up the lot as a bike park. I wanna find out if he was elected or appointed. If appointed, I want his sponsor's head!!!!! I then called PG&E. It appears the fence deal is becalmed in the bid collecting phase. I'm steamed. Worse, the evenings are getting longer and those young villains are there longer each day.
