From the earnings release: ---- In the quarter ended March 31, 1997, prior to the acquisition of Visigenic, Borland reported standalone revenues of $37.2 million, compared with $46.5 million for the quarter ended March 31, 1998, which includes the results of Visigenic -- a 25 percent increase. ---- Based on the similarity in wording: Techweb article pulled the "standalone" phrase from the earnings release. Hence I would venture to say that they missed the "ended March 31, 1997" part! The TechWeb editors who let this get through are idiots. ---- Shane.
