That was my first impression after I put an order in 1 cent above the ask and could not get filled. My best guess is that a lot of shares are trading hand between those who know whats going on and market makers trying to control the price of the stock as long as they can by trading shares between themselves. In the long run it won't matter but it sure sucks at the moment. MARK C.
