Here's a little sumpin' I think has been overlooked lately, a neat little angle that only Senor Jobs himself could pull off:

Thus, the Mac migration in small businesses that don't have the resources for dedicated support -- and don't need really need it with the Mac. Less time troubleshooting means more work done, and as Steve Jobs said at Seybold recently, "more time to spend with the family."

Steve Jobs, that anti-technologist. I love it. Maybe he's paving the way for that inevitable day when more and more people start rebelling against their computers? Paint the picture of the kindler, gentler computer (but one that'll still strip the paint off your neighbor's Compaq).

Hope everyone has a great weekend and that the meeting goes well tonight in the Big Apple.

Mark

"Ad agencies have legal departments who mull over things like this and a "Not thunk here" attitude for ideas. Perhaps it could be presented via e-mail to the creative director (who probably gets inundated by submissions). You can probably find the name of a creative director by looking up TBWA/ChiatDay at the libarary. "

Quite true. A couple days after the snail ad came out I compiled some data on power consumption and made a comparison between PPC 750 and Pentium II. What resulted was the Think Dinner page which mocked the "hot" Pentium II.

In addition as some of you might know, MacEvolution has been poking fun at the Intel Bunnies long before the "toasted" ad came out. A few days after the Think Dinner page was posted, I got an email from someone at Chiat Day asking me to forward them some of the feedbacks that I got for the page, which I did.

About a week after the "toasted" ad was aired I suddenly got an email from Chiat-Day's legal department saying that I've sent them unsolicitated email with ideas that they cannot accept.

Hehehe...Those guys are funny in more ways than one.
