Great response Gary. Been a lurker for a while and I've never advocated a CSCO short until now. The combination of mkt cap and maturity of some of their product lines should be concern for investors. The at&t outage will force potential BPX buyers to look at ASND, NT and NN more closely. And the introduction of terabit switches at Interop that compete favorably with CSCO's 12000 will surely slow sales growth to ISPs.

MSFT has different pricing dynamics and a different competitive structure. Not a one for one comparison, IMO.
