Its been a while since I posted here. I don't want to be charged a fee for not participating. soo...

With regard to management.

There was a time when most on this thread couldn't stop the chant 'out with the old and in with the new!' It always seemed to me that the first guys who were running this operation were the ones who, by fortune or good work, took us up to the 5-8 range; even if that move called for a form of sebuku.

Seems to me the post on the other thread was accurate in what it did say. Although I can not for the life of me see why we went running all the way to mexico if the 'right answer' was next door. And haven't we been down this little dream road before? Don't I remember US being giddy by trend lines that pointed toward boundaries?

The problem is that this is still a one property play( or seen as such by the market). And there is an easy dozen good companies out there that have portfolio's of properties that each give the little devil a run. The market has re-recognized depth of holdings as a hedge against uncertainty.

One final point, which is not meant to incite old feelings. But wasn't it EC who mumbled about the fact that north american properties were undervalued because they had a built in hedge against uncertainty. Well a great many of the plays in the past months have been on 'home turf'. The market seems to be favoring the locally bred mares.

I still hold pfg. I'm an emotional long. But its the little devil that has me and I know its wrong to love one of these nags. We are a one horse outfit in an area that is less popular than before, with a sugar daddy who treats his fine girl like he's runnin a harem. What can we expect from the market??

Most all the players are gone. It's just us longs and multiple bettors of last year's maidens. We are still using last year's betting sheets and wondering why the hell our horse ain't even at the gate.

regards,

mnmuench
