Thanks G.M., mighty fine picture. No proper nouns in the dictionary.

I take it we are the bulls, not that we are the ones running in fear.

I can do the song either way.

Thanks to the many people on this thread that have expressed their trading styles. It is interesting and educational for a novice like me.

If anyone has any comments about my style, please let me know. (Please be gentle.)

My limited experience in the market has led me to believe my original modus operandi is the best for me. It is a buy and hold rendition - except condensed.

Buy something downtrodden with good fundamentals, you wouldn't mind being stuck with if it doesn't turn around right away. Set a sell limit price. This can be moved. When it reaches the point you would no longer buy it at the price it is at - you can still keep it if it seems to be behaving well. If it has really made such a run that it may be ahead of itself, then sell. (This is the tricky part, but for me it usually works. I'm talking large moves at this point.)

I tried micro managing (smaller moves) a tech stock recently. I would have done better letting it ride. (Paul is such a gentleman he didn't even say "I told you so")

Everyone has their own technique and knows what works best for them.
I enjoy hearing them all.
