Oh I thought you sold the company and was going to retire. What mini correction? I heard the markets down but I was shooting shorts in a barrel. After months of taking abuse it feels good. Did you hear JBIL is changing to JBL and moving to the NYSE, Still staying above water. Hope things do correct a bit since I want to get back into TXN, QCOM and AMAT for the end of year bash.

And hope you got next months rent check ready.. Aint pretty out there with some of these landlords..

Lessons learnt from October 1997 prepared me for this: NEVER hesitate about taking profits. Today's stock action was not a surprise for me. Last time market was hit (October 28, 1997) I was hurt, this time I was prepared. Daytrading/Swing Trading will be the wave of the future for me. Never holding options through the weekend, and never holding more than 3-4 option positions at any one time.

from previous posts on Friday:<< TOS..Just sold a perfectly good company. I know it will continue its gains, but I was hesitant holding over the weekend. TOS, JAII, and AFLX are all gone now. my MYG May options are the only thing I now hold in my trading portfolio. I'm ready with 98% cash going into Monday..Let's see what happens next week.>>

<<AT..not retiring. Just cautious.. Like having the cash ready for when this mini correction is over>>
is over.
