Edward, if Datek really makes good on *all* sell orders that received confirmations (appearing only later), I would be impressed, considering the scope of the problem. I'm not convinced, because it will be messy and very costly. In my case, I had two stop sell market orders of 5000 shares each of DBCC at 8 1/16 and 7 15/16. No confirmations for 15 minutes or so, although 5 partial fills at 5 different prices (8 1/16 to 7 1/2) over the next 15 minutes sold half the total. Sheesh, only 5000 shares sold at market over 15 minutes, in a very liquid market (half million shares traded in the same period). At that point, I canceled what was left of the sell order, because by then the price rose again above my stops. I'll state here what they offer me, if anything, when I contact them monday.
