Hi Sonki. All those drugs you mentioned. It's hard to say which company to drop. LLY is better valued but their Evista drug is not catching on gang busters. It will be great if they can do something with it as far as breast cancer prevention. But that of course will be a while off. All the named cos. have great pipelines. Merck is down but I am sure anybody holding it will be rewarded, great things in the pipeline. WLA is retreating but if the market goes to 10.000+, WLA will be there. And like you said, target is 220 and somebody had it at 240 which is your target also. gg. Msft. I am not worried. When I buy a stock I expect it to go down first. gg. Well, maybe I am a little worried. After I bought it things started to heat up even more. It seems like the whole world is after Msft now. All this talk about practically most cos. are being afraid of them and especially little upstarts or even people trying to upstart. They using the excuse that money is drying up when Msft is in that particular business they are trying to get in. We are talking here about talk that Msft may dictate to the GVT one day. Give me a break. I wonder how B.G. got started in his basement and how much venture capital he got. I forgot how it worked. I liked that quip by Brian about Msft getting out of trouble once the computers in the GVT crash because of Y2K problems. I am not quite sure, but I do think they are working on it heatedly. gg. Talking about the drugs one more time. Amgen is starting to make waves again. Pipeline is starting to expand. Did I forget something? Oh yes, WLA on Monday. If the market goes up I would say yes. Shoot. Long post and I am out of here. Sonny Here comes the funny part. I wrote this before I signed. I guess I added something somewhere and lost my place. gg. So, it it's out of place now. gg. I was not that keen on PFE last year but now that Viagra sales are shooting straight to heaven and the pipeline looks better, it would be hard to part with that one at the moment. BTW, true or not, I heard that prescription sales are now 40.000 a day. Should that be true, it would be a first I believe. With HMO's opposed to paying for it, I don't know if prescriptions will hold this pace. Time will tell, at least 3 mos. but in the meantime I would not drop it, unless things change in a hurry. I saw a couple on TV where the husband had prostate surgery and was not able to perform any more. After taking Viagra, the couple looked like Newlyweds. In cases like that etc. I am sure HMO will have to pay. And when it comes to this I think people will pay for it one way or another, maybe not as often. VVUS is riding on the coattails of Viagra. Actually it was first, gg. But I guess things had slowed down for that company since Viagra was on the horizon. But now it looks that certain cases will not be helped by using Viagra and VVUS does. So, I guess there are more ways than one now to do something about impotence. Zomagen had also a nice ride with their Zona drug which will be backed by SGP, one of your cos. and that is still fairly low also, SGP that is. TBR. It looks like a pretty good buy to me but we will know more after a May 4th meeting. I think it is on May 4th. Memory is going to pot. gg. Anyhow, I am thinking of getting it for a little ride. You sold your CMGI. I bought a little company called ICGN. It had gone up quite nicely but then the Motley fools put a lousy quip out on it along with some of the highflying internet stocks and it tanked. Motley retracted it yesterday and said they did ICGN wrong. If you are still fooling around with those stocks, like you mentioned earlier, check out that thread. You will find that retraction from the Motley's posted there by M. Jenkins. I gave him a little hint on our thread the other day about having the Motley's retracting it. They did. Maybe he wrote them back, maybe they did it on his prev. correspondences. gg.
