Glenn, please bear in mind, I am not saying that Amazon isn't overvalued, or that it will
not correct significantly from this level. But I do not believe, as some have suggested,
that Amazon is going to shrivel up and die. That is a shorts pipe dream.

As more and more people learn how to use the Internet, more and more people will
discover the Amazon site and use it. The percentages of people who use the internet are
ridiculously low as compared to what they will be in 1,5, or 10 years from now. Most
certainly Amazon's sales will increase with it.

Michael,

I wish I could access the key board to type correctly. Oh well. I won't bore you as much<G>

It matters not how many people are making book purchases on the net. One to one hundred percent. The sales of all booksellers will increase or decrease accordingly to the change of net use.

Then there is talk about page views Everytime someone goes paskt a BKS store in their car is a page view. How many views is it when someone stops and goes in? Browes? BKS and Borders has hundreds of milions of page views in some of the finest real estate areas in the world. This excludes their net presence.

I heard storys of doom whne The Home Shopping Network became popular. It willchange they you shop all due to technology. You have cable in your house, the use of a toll free call, etc.So simple. That was a sure flash in the pan rather than a retailing revolution.

The retailing of books will continue. The methods may change slightly. However, there will be pleanty of competition as there was in the past. AMZN will not be around to play.

Glenn
