Brian,

You can certainly run the chip at 83MHz, with PC100 DIMMs. Most of the higher end Taiwanese socket 7 boards will allow you to do that. However, without the asynchronous PCI feature, you will be running the PCI bus at 41.5MHz, which screws up some SCSI controllers. Asus, Abit, Aopen and Epox make 83mHz boards.

Brian, K6-3D will run fine at 4*75 in most TX, VP2, VP3 or SIS mobos.
