robwin, Thanks for your input on the cash cards. I appreciate the information.

Brad and I spend a lot of time doing DD and we like to share it with others. We know that a lot of people do not have as much time to do research and we hope ours can be of help to them.

Yes, we do suggest that people do as much DD as they can. I know the more DD I do myself the more comfortable I am with my investment. Everyone needs to make their own decision and should not base it on someone else's opinion.

We try to put together some basic information on a company. Since we spend a great deal of time researching, why not share it with others? We try to provide phones number to make it easier for others to do their own DD.

There are some companies that I get excited about, like GLOW. I just see a lot of potential. And I have done enough of my own DD to feel comfortable with my investment. Everyone has their own risk tolerance and comfort level for investing. The stocks I like may not be for everyone. But that is their decision to make.

We have nothing to do with the company. We are just individual investors. Yes, I invest to make money like everyone else. But I like to see others make money also. That is probably why I do not short any stocks. It just doesn't seem right to me to go against the loyal shareholders that have invested their hard earned money. I know it is legal on Big Board stocks. But I do not like to make money at the detriment of others.

Cheryl

Robin, I was going to post a message asking if any Canadians could fill us in on just how widely used these cash cards are but you beat me to it. Your comment stating

"According to a recent Canadian documentary, cash cards are a novelty
used by a very small minority of individuals."

says to me that they are not that widely used. I do look at them as a novelty item as well. Maybe they are more of a collector type thing than anything else just like these pre-paid phone cards with the different scenes on the front of the cards.
Thanks again.
Trump.

Debit cards were also a novelty when they first came out! Bar coding was a novelty! Cash cards say "I have the money now!" Even on credit cards businesses take risks as the individual can stop payment and tie up funds in "Disputable charges". The conventional wisdom is always behind because their entrenched business practices keep them in the money and anything new is always suspect (personal computer????). Wow, let's buy some stock in "Buggy Whips-R-Us"!
