Farralon developed a substantial short position from its ALRIZ play. I'd be surprised if they are responsible for as little of the total short as you have guessed.

Bernie, my tummy agrees with Steve on this. Is there some some data point(s) from which you arrive at your 20% estimate?

Regards,

Walter

Bernie, I just checked a post by Henry in December. The current short position is consistent, and has been each month since December, with the Farallon short position Henry reported at that time.

You may want to check:

If the December report was correct, it appears the bulk of the current short position belongs to F.

Walter
