Only twice before have I ever seen such a setup for a short squeeze: Presstek and this week K-Tel. Presstek quintupled in value as the clueless declared bankruptcy, and K-Tel went from 6+ to 49 in days. As with any short squeeze of that magnitude, the prices come back down to a middle of the squeeze reasonable price. What I am seeing with CCSI is the teeing up of the shorts for a ridiculously easy at bat by the hedge funds, money managers, and some of the current longs who have been saving up for this. With the huge short position, CCSI could EASILY run up into the 30's+ once the economics of the deal are announced. If you don't believe Lehman will be buying HEAVILY upon the announcement, once the restriction on them buying is lifted, along with others alerted by Lehman and Hill and Knowlton, then you don't have a clue about big time stock investing. If you're an amateur short, you won't be able to get out the exit until the elephant shorts have stampeded in a panic. I believe that after the huge inevitable runup has occurred, the stock will settle in the low 30's. To give you a clue, for those shorts that haven't bothered to conduct any DD, the CEO will only be able to convert her preferred into common if the stock averages $31.11 or higher. Think she has some motivation to take her time, as she has done, and maximize this 1st deal's revenues? REMEMBER, we voted 2 months ago to also allow her to convert if the co enjoyed $20+ million in earnings OR extraordinary payments by distributors. Do you think that change was dreamed up to fit the coming deal payments? Now you're catching on. I'm bored with the shorts and their "short"sightedness. Those of us who have been long have been amply rewarded already. But the payoff of a lifetime, IMHO, will soon arrive. Why anyone would still be short is beyond my experienced comprehension. I can only say that if you missed K-Tel this week and its short squeeze, you should soon be able to enjoy the CCSI squeeze. As a final thought for the night, I will read the CCSI map for you: 1. FDA approved device, the ONLY FDA approved device in the US, and the ONLY device that can possibly be on the market for a long, long time. 2. CCSI has an excellent US patent on its device. No one else has any similar patent of course. 3. Dr Maisels, the most well-respected bili expert in the world, has signed exclusively with CCSI. 4. Lehman Bros is our financial advisor. Need we say more? 5. Hill and Knowlton is now handling our PR, IR and investment community education, etc. Need we say more? 6. Intl accounting firm coming onboard this week, with blessing and "No disagreement" endorsement from small former firm. 7. NO, REPEAT, NO competition in the US at all and a very poor, NON-FDA approved competitor languishing in a couple of countries elsewhere. 8. IMMINENT distribution deal coming which should provide initial $ payment, large % sharing arrangment, tough criteria on partner pushing strong market penetration worldwide, etc and maybe investment in CCSI by partner. 9. New Orleans conference beginning next Friday, with other important conferences coming between now and August (think those Hill and Knowlton folks won't be working overtime this summer for us?) 10. HUGE short position established based on historical, PRE-FDA approval business of the co 11. Finally, who could possibly forget that K-Tel and its ENORMOUS profits are on the minds of those everloving, greedy funds, who are licking their chops, salivating while they wait for the ignition from the coming CCSI announcement (s) and short squeeze. 12. I almost forgot to include in this nifty little map list the reminder of the conversion price for the CEO of $31.11. (My prediction is that when she is soon able to convert, she will retire as CEO, turn the co over to professional mgmt, and happily and richly return to what she loves doing for CCSI and that is being a scientist). I wish I could offer best wishes to Avalon and the other wonderfully brilliant shorts, but I can't. Your ass is grass, as they say.
