XAU. This index is gold and silver. I don't know how much weight is given to silver which is not always convergent with gold. Why do we set such store by it on a gold thread? Isn't there a gold index anywhere? The only one which comes to mind is the TSE Gold Index, but I don't know if this comes with enough moving averages etc., etc., I mean, if we are going to include silver why not platinum and palladium. Aren't we muddying the waters with this XAU??
