Adrian , re. use of 75 + 83 mhz boards
thanks for further confirmation . My post of Tom's hardware last night also confirms . As far as the PCI / SCSI running at half speed , I would not think that to be a huge problem since SCSI is not likely to be used on the majority of PCs below $2000 ,

Adrian , VIA's MVP3 chipset announced in January can be used in 75/83/100 mhz speeds , so it looks like another Intel FUD operation.

Boy these guys must really be worried , all the old pests are back , looking at the Intel chart I can see why .
