I own neither. I've been told it takes 8 warrants to buy one share, and I'm going to check that out before I do anything.

From Alza Investor Relations:

Terms of ALZA Warrants

ALZA Warrants to purchase one-eighth of one share of ALZA Common Stock
are exercisable until December 31, 1999 at an exercise price of $65
per share. The Warrants do not confer upon the holder thereof any
voting, preemptive or other rights as a stockholder of ALZA. The
Warrants may be exercised by surrender to the Warrant Agent of a duly
executed certificate evidencing the Warrants accompanied by payment in
full in cash or check, payable to the order of ALZA, for the exercise
price. Warrants may be exercised in whole, or otherwise in increments
of ten ALZA shares (i.e., 80 Warrants). Fractional shares will not be
issued upon exercise of the Warrants. In lieu thereof, a cash
settlement based on the market price of the ALZA Common Stock on the
date of exercise will be made.

If ALZA Warrants were received as part of the original distribution of
Units of Therapeutic Discovery Corporation on June 10, 1993, the cost
basis on the Warrants is $0.00.
