Investing in stocks is the biggest legalized gambling game in the world. Toss a quarter, heads, tails? that is not gambling! Gambling is taking time to learn odds, read racing results, due diligence. Gambling is a study in human weakness! Why do you think the house always wins? There is a difference between betting against the house (tossing a coin) and betting against other players (mutual betting/stocks). This is where time and Due Diligence pay! The other players that you will take money from are only in it for the thrill/instant gratification as they think there are instant riches in taking tips from family members and SI hypsters. You are taking their money right now (as they sell at low prices and you buy) and will sit back and realize that you are comfortable with your research and are putting your money on a company that has a stratey to take you to the next level (high return on investment/10,000 shares to win on FAMH please)!
